Being able to go outside and take pictures and share with other people is a key part of their lifestyle when they travel. Our consumers are aware of what is going on in our environment and find sustainability crucial. It is important for to them to stay somewhere that is conscious of the environment and of nature's effects. Being able to relax in their rooms and recharge helps to make their travel experience easy. Millennials understand that we are all different so having a personalized experience is something that they can appreciate.
Our Brand
Allowing our customers to have the most comfortable stay is very important to us. Technology allows our visitors to have the most customizable experience. They are able to set the temperature, lights, order food from an in-room tablet and more. This also allows us to have less paper use as the users can scroll through the tablet rather than a menu. Each room also includes plants to support the visitor's health and wellness. It allows them to feel connected to nature and relax. We want to provide a service that they cannot get anywhere else. Our food and dining will be local and so will our plants. We want our visitors to feel like they are connected to Vancouver as well as to each other. Our level of personalization will allow for anyone to come here. We will be able to accommodate those that have light and temperature sensitivities.

When entering the lobby, one is greeted by the luscious green elements that are throughout the space. Behind the lobby entrance is this lounge area. Above the lounge is an atrium where plants hang down. This creates a jungle like effect and allows the traveler to feel like they are being surrounded by nature even in a city. The space below is where people can sit and can have coffee and pastries from the cafe. This area has plug-ins available so that travelers that need to come in during their day can relax while they charge their devices. Behind this is a shipping container that houses the work area. This is a more private area where people can focus. The shipping container front is taken off and replaced with a glass wall allowing for light to enter it.

Guestroom Floorplan
In the guestrooms, green elements will continue to shine through. It is important for the users to have a positive psychological experience, hence the plants. The light and airy feel of the neutral materials also allows this to happen. Travelers are able to customize their experience by the interactive screens next to the beds. These allow them to control the lights, HVAC and bed in their room. The bathrooms also include timers that allow them to see how much water they have used throughout their shower. This allows the users to be aware of the environmental mark they are making.

The rooftop is a place where people can come and eat or relax. At night there is a shipping container bar where people can eat and drink. The shipping container also works as a water collector that waters the plants throughout the hotel. There is also a garden at the front of the floorplan. This is open all day as a place for visitors to sit and read or just relax. Activities like yoga can also take place up here. This space is a community space where people can come together and get to know each other but also feel at peace when they are alone.
